Frank Godt

Frank Godt (born March 5, 1966 in Lüneburg ) is a German production designer .

Life

Frank Godt grew up in North Friesland . He trained as a carpenter and has been working in the film industry since 1990. Godt was responsible for setting up and realizing various film sets, including in the CCC studios in Berlin . From 1994 to 1995 he studied stage technology at the Hanseatic Academy for Marketing and Communication Media eV Hamburg and has been a freelance production designer for film and television since 1997.

Godt worked a. a. with the directors John Bradshaw , Jörg Lühdorff , Claudia Prietzel , Peter Henning , Ulli Baumann , Hans Horn , Andreas Thiel , Florian Baxmeyer , Thomas Stiller , Friedemann Fromm , Ben Verbong , Oliver Dommenget, Wilhelm Engelhardt , Matthias Tiefenbacher , Marc Brummund , Stefan Krohmer , Christoph Schnee , Christian Theede and Isabel Prahl together.

In 2010 Frank Godt is one of the founding members of the German Academy for Television Godt designed the award sculpture for the German Academy for Television and has been with President Gerhard Schmidt , CEO Michael Brandner , Cornelia von Braun , Jochen Grewe , Stephan Ottenbruch and Frank Döhmann since 2013 active on the executive board of the German Academy for Television.

He lives with his family in Nordheide near Hamburg in Lower Saxony.
