The U-17 national football team of the United Arab Emirates is the selection of football players from the United Arab Emirates in the U-17 age group , which the UAE Football Association at international level, for example in friendly matches against the junior national teams of other national associations, but also in the U-16 Asian Cup of the AFC Continental Association or the U-17 World Cup of FIFA . The team's greatest successes were reaching the round of 16 at the 2009 World Cup and reaching the final of the 1990 Asian Cup .
