Günter Stummvoll
Günter Stummvoll (born March 3, 1943 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). He was a member of the Federal Government and the National Council .
Career
Günter Stummvoll attended from 1953 to 1961, a federal realgymnasium , from 1961 to 1967 he studied at the University of Economics (Dipl.-Kfm. In 1965, comm Dr. rer.. 1967).
From 1966 to 1991 Günter Stummvoll worked for the Association of Austrian Industrialists and from 1992 to 2000 he was Secretary General of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce . Member of the Federal Council since 1980 , he moved to the National Council in 1983 , where he was a member of the Waldviertel until 1990 . In 1988 Günter Stummvoll moved to the Federal Government of Vranitzky II , of which he was a member of the Federal Ministry of Finance until 1991 ( Federal Government of Vranitzky III ) . Between 1991 and 2013 he was again Member of Parliament and from 2000 to 2008 deputy club chairman of the Austrian People's Party parliamentary group . From 2008 to 2013 Stummvoll was chairman of the parliamentary finance committee and finance spokesman for his party in parliament. 2013 Stummvoll ended his political career; his successor as National Councilor in Waldviertel is Werner Groiß .
