Christa Krammer (born June 22, 1944 in Deutschkreutz ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Christa Krammer studied political science at the University of Vienna .

Then she worked in banking and education. From 1984 to 1987 she was director at the Federal Commercial Academy and Federal Commercial School Oberpullendorf .

From 1987 to 1994, Krammer was a member of the Burgenland provincial government as a provincial councilor for the areas of culture, health and social affairs. From 1994 to 1997 she was Federal Minister for Health and Consumer Protection, from 1997 to 1998 a member of the National Council . From 1999 to 2001 she worked as an ombudsman .
