Ruth Feldgrill-Zankel

Ruth Feldgrill-Zankel (born September 15, 1942 in Kapfenberg ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Political career

Diplomkauffrau Feldgrill-Zankel was city councilor in Graz from 1987 to 1991 , among other things responsible for the tourism agenda. From 1991 to 1992 she was in the Vranitzky III federal government as the successor to Marilies Flemming, Federal Minister for the Environment, Youth and Family. From 1992 to 1998 she was again the deputy mayor of Graz.

In 2002 Ruth Feldgrill-Zankel was awarded the Great Gold Medal of Honor of the State of Styria .
