Hilde Hawlicek
Hilde Hawlicek (born April 14, 1942 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).
Life
Hilde Hawlicek studied teaching German and history at the University of Vienna , then political science at the Ford Institute in Vienna. From 1968 to 1971 she worked as an AHS teacher.
From 1971 to 1976 she was a member of the Federal Council . From 1976 to 1987 and 1990 to 1995 she was a member of the National Council , from 1987 to 1990 Federal Minister for Education, Art and Sport.
From 1979 to 1987 and from 1990 to 1995, she was part of the Austrian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on.
From 1995 to 1999 she was a member of the European Parliament .
