The municipality of Zülz ( Polish Gmina Biała ) is a town-and-country municipality in the powiat Prudnicki of the Opole Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city ​​of the same name (Biała) with about 2500 inhabitants.

The community has been officially bilingual since 2006.

Geography and traffic

The municipality is located in Upper Silesia 30 km southwest of the voivodeship capital Opole (Opole) . The district town of Prudnik (Neustadt) is a few kilometers to the south-west. The river Biała (Zülzer Wasser) belongs to the waters .

The city is located on the DW 414 voivodship road . Passenger and rail traffic on the Prudnik - Krapkowice line was discontinued from 1991 to 1992.
