The Gennach is the longest river in the Ostallgäu and the longest tributary of the Wertach with a length of 47 km.

Its catchment area (422.65 km²) is in the administrative region of Swabia in Bavaria (Germany). The source of the Gennach is on the Fenenberg near Bernbach ( Bidingen municipality ).
