Gyōda ( Japanese 行 田 市 , - shi ) is a Japanese city in the north of Saitama Prefecture .
geography
In the north, the Tone River forms the border with Gunma Prefecture .

Attractions
Oshi Castle was in Gyōda . Parts of it can be admired in the museum. A wooden tower was rebuilt in 1987.
There is a collection of nine Kofun graves in Gyōda. These tombs, known as the Sakitama Kofu group , date from the 5th to 7th centuries .
Specialties
The so-called Gyōda no Fry became famous through the manga Eki mae no arukikata by Shingo Morita . They are similar to the okonomiyaki .
In addition, so-called jelly fry ( zerīfurai ) are often offered in the city . These are similar to the well-known Korokke .
