Hansjörg Knecht
Hansjörg Knecht (born March 24, 1960 in Leuggern , resident in Leibstadt ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).
Life
Hansjörg Knecht was on the Leibstadt municipal council from January 1990 to December 1997 and on the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau from March 1996 to January 2012 . He has been a member of the National Council since the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2011 and is a member of the Commission for Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy (UREK) . On November 24, 2019 , he was elected to the Council of States in the second ballot for the canton of Aargau . For him, the Aargau politician Stefanie Heimgartner slipped into the National Council.
Knecht is an entrepreneur and married.
