Harald Trettenbrein

Harald Trettenbrein (born October 17, 1957 in Wolfsberg ) is an Austrian politician ( FPK formerly FPÖ or BZÖ ). He was a member of the National Council from 1999 to 2002 and has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament since 2004 .

education and profession

Trettenbrein attended elementary and secondary school from 1964 to 1972 and, after completing the polytechnic course in 1972/73, completed an apprenticeship as a chef, which he completed in 1977. Between 1977 and 1978 Trettenbrein did his military service.

Trettenbrein worked in the seasonal hospitality industry between 1977 and 1978 and between 1980 and 1984 and was self-employed in the hospitality industry from 1978 to 1980. Between 1984 and 2004 he worked as a skilled worker at PALE SKI & SPORT Gesellschaft mbH and was department manager for 18 years and works council for 14 years. Since March 2005 he has been employed by Salextra Handels- und Projektentwicklungs GmbH in Wolfsberg.

politics

Trettenbrein was city party chairman of the FPÖ and the BZÖ from 1999, is now the city party chairman of the Freedom Party in Wolfsberg and since 2000 chamber councilor of the chamber for workers and employees for Carinthia. In 2003 he was elected to the municipal council of the city of Wolfsberg, where he also acts as the leader of the Freedom Party in Wolfsberg. In September 2003 he was elected deputy district party chairman in Wolfsberg. In July 2005, he also became Deputy Chairman of the Employee Promotion Council.

Trettenbrein succeeded Jakob Pistotnig in parliament after his death and represented the FPÖ between September 13, 2001 and December 19, 2002 in the National Council. Since March 31, 2004 he has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament. In the course of the split in the FPÖ, Trettenbrein moved from 2005 to 2009 like most of the Carinthian MPs to the BZÖ. In the municipal council election in Wolfsberg on March 1, 2009 Trettenbrein ran for third place in the BZÖ. After the emergence of the Hypo-Alpe-Adria affair, part of the Carinthian National Council members of the Alliance Future Austria, now under the party name Die Freiheitliche in Kärnten - Freedom Party of Carinthia (FPK), split on December 16, 2009 from the BZÖ parliamentary club and its Party off.

Private

Trettenbrein is married and has two daughters.

In January 2018 it became known that Harald Trettenbrein (FPÖ) Ingrid Thurnher, editor-in-chief of ORF III, had to pay 3,000 euros in damages for posting on Facebook, according to a ruling in the first instance at the Klagenfurt Regional Court.
