Stefan Sandrieser

Stefan Sandrieser (born June 23, 1966 ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Since April 2018 he has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament .

Life

After elementary school in Radenthein, Stefan Sandrieser attended a grammar school in Villach, where he graduated in 1984 . He then graduated from the Federal Pedagogical Academy in Carinthia and passed the teaching examination for secondary schools for mathematics, physics / chemistry and integration. From 1989 to 2013 taught physics and mathematics at various compulsory schools in Carinthia, since 2013 he has been exempted as chairman of the central committee for general compulsory schools in Carinthia.

Since 1994 he has been working in the staff representation . From 2011 to June 2016 he was chairman-deputy chairman of the public service union (GÖD) Carinthia for the parliamentary group of social democratic trade unionists (FSG) . In June 2016 he was elected regional chairman of the Carinthian public service union. At the state parliament of the union of compulsory school teachers on January 20, 2016 he was elected chairman. He is the chairman of the Central Committee for General Compulsory Schools (APS) in Carinthia. In the Social Democratic Teachers' Association Austria (SLÖ) he acts as deputy chairman in Carinthia, in the federal pension fund as regional curator for Carinthia.

On 12 April 2018 he was in the inaugural parliament session of the 32nd legislative period as a Member of the Carinthian parliament sworn in . He moved up for a member of the government after changing to the state government of Kaiser II . In the state parliament he acts as area spokesman for education and the public service and belongs to the committee for citizen participation, direct democracy and petitions, committee for culture, sport and Europe, the committee for law, constitution, immunity, national groups and education as well as the committee for water management, public Water resources and hydrography.
