Armin Geissler

Armin Geißler (born July 1, 1965 ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Since October 2019 he has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament .

Life

Armin Geißler lives in Sankt Georgen im Lavanttal , is chairman of the works council of Steiner Bau GesmbH and for the parliamentary group of social democratic trade unionists (FSG) chamber councilor of the Carinthian Chamber of Labor . On October 24, 2019, in the 32nd legislative period , he was sworn in as a member of the Carinthian State Parliament , where he was appointed to the Committee for Rural Areas and Infrastructure, the Committee for Economy, Tourism and Mobility, the Committee for Housing, Labor and Technology and the Committee for Water Management, Public Water Resources and Hydrography. He replaced Klaus Köchl , who moved to the National Council. Geißler was previously a substitute member of the Federal Council for Federal Councilor Ingo Appé .
