Ruth Feistritzer

Ruth Feistritzer (born December 19, 1968 in Sonnleiten , Gnesau ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). She has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament since April 2018 .

Life

After elementary school in Patergassen and Gnesau and secondary school 3 in Feldkirchen, Ruth Feistritzer attended the commercial academy in Feldkirchen, where she graduated in 1988 . She has been with Österreichische Post AG since 1988 , including as head of a post office. Since September 2014 she has been the equal treatment officer for Österreichische Post AG.

Since 2008 she has been chairwoman of the SPÖ women in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee , where she has been a member of the municipal council since 2009 and was a councilor for education, family and integration from 2015 to January 2018. She is the chairwoman of the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions (ÖGB) in Klagenfurt and chairwoman of the union for post and telecommunications employees in Klagenfurt. On April 12, 2018, she was in the inaugural parliament session of the 32nd legislative period to as deputies Carinthian parliament sworn in , where it acts as a field officer for social and early childhood education and the Committee on Health, Care and Social Affairs, the Committee on Culture, Sports and Europe , the Committee on Nature Conservation, Energy and the Environment and the Committee on Economy, Tourism and Mobility.

Ruth Feistritzer is a graduate of the Carinthian politicians course.
