Gabriele Dörflinger (born August 5, 1961 in Saarlouis , Saarland ) is an Austrian politician and mayor of the SPÖ . She has been the mayor of Klein St. Paul since March 15, 2015, and a member of the Carinthian state parliament since April 12, 2018 .

Life

After attending elementary and secondary school, she passed the HAK high school diploma and worked as a banker from 1980 to 1983. She has been politically active since 1997, until about 2009 as chairwoman of the social committee. In 2005 she became chamber Councilor of the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry . In 2009 she was elected Vice Mayor and in 2015 Mayor of Klein St. Paul .

On April 12, 2018, she was in the inaugural parliament session of the 32nd legislative period as a Member of the Carinthian parliament sworn in , where it acts as a field officer for agriculture, forestry and animal welfare.
