Herwig Seiser

Herwig Seiser (born December 15, 1960 ) is an Austrian state employee and politician ( SPÖ ). Seiser has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament and club chairman of the SPÖ state parliament club since 2004 .

Born in Sankt Veiter Seiser, he was Peter Ambrozy's secretary from 1988 . Between 1992 and 1997 he was city party chairman of the SPÖ Feldkirchen and in 1997 became a city councilor. In addition, Seiser is the SPÖ district party leader in the Feldkirchen district . In 2003 he was elected as first deputy mayor and on March 31, 2004 he was sworn in as a member of the Carinthian state parliament. Previously, Seiser had been a member of the Federal Council. After Peter Kaiser moved to the state government, Seiser was elected chairman of the SPÖ state parliament club in July 2008. On March 4, 2010, Seiser declared his candidacy for the chairmanship of the Carinthian SPÖ.

Seiser lives in a community and is the father of a son. He has lived in Feldkirchen since 1987.
