Alfred Tiefnig

Alfred Tiefnig (born January 30, 1962 in Irschen ) is an Austrian insurance broker and politician ( SPÖ ). Tiefnig has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament since 2006 .

education and profession

Tiefnig completed his compulsory schooling in Irschen , Dellach im Drautal and Greifenburg and then learned the trade of retail salesman , where he attended the Lienz technical school between 1977 and 1980 . After completing his apprenticeship, Tiefnig performed military service in the Austrian Armed Forces in 1980. In addition to his professional activity, Tiefnig completed a state A-license trainer training at the Sports University Innsbruck , training as a state-certified insurance broker in Lienz and training in the team development process in Salzburg .

Tiefnig worked as a retail salesman in Lienz and was head of department at Kastner & Öhler in Spittal an der Drau . Tiefnig also worked as a sales trainer and between 1989 was a sales representative and team partner at Allianz Versicherungs AG , Carinthia / East Tyrol. Since 2003, Tiefnig has been an independent insurance broker for Allianz Versicherungs AG in Irschen.

Tiefnig has been a member of the Irschen municipal council since 1994 and has been deputy mayor of the municipality since 1997. He is also chairman of the advisory board of Irschner Wasserkraft und Infrastruktur GmbH and a board member and member of the herbal marketing association in the natural herb village of Irschen .

Tiefnig is the local party chairman of the SPÖ Irschen and has been a member of the Carinthian state parliament since November 9, 2006. In the state elections in 2009 , Tiefnig ran for first place on the SPÖ list in the constituency. In 2012, Tiefnig was elected SPÖ district party chairman with 100% approval . In the 2013 state election, Tiefnig returned to the Carinthian state parliament. He is nominated as sports spokesman and spokesman for the agricultural sector of his group. In June 2013 he was unanimously elected Deputy Party Chairman of the SPÖ Carinthia by the state party executive.

Private

Tiefnig is married and has two adult children (Dominik and Kerstin). During his time as a footballer he played for various clubs, including Askö Irschen, Nussdorf, Radenthein and SV Spittal (2nd division)
