Hartmannsberg is a nature reserve with the number 1,186 designated by ordinance of the Stuttgart Regional Council of August 21, 1992 .

location

The nature reserve is located in the Obere Gäue and Neckar Basin natural areas and is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Flacht . The protected area includes the summit and the slopes of 475  m above sea level. NHN high Hartmannsberg. The Hartmannsberg is part of the FFH area No. 7119-341 Strohgäu and the lower Enz Valley .

Protection purpose

According to the Protected Area Ordinance, the protection purpose is the preservation and promotion of the open, undisturbed semi-arid grasslands with their own flora and fauna as well as the diverse habitats of endangered species worthy of protection. The attractive landscape is also protected.

Flora and fauna

Among the plant species are particularly noteworthy: Rispige grass lily , mountain aster , silver thistle , dianthus carthusianorum , German Frans gentian , Common Frans gentian , mosquito Händelwurz , lappula squarrosa , twayblade and pulsatilla vulgaris . The swallowtail , horseshoe clover , yellow ocher , ocher velvet butterfly and big fox should be mentioned as representative of the butterfly species . Among the grasshoppers, the common sickle hoppers , two-colored bite insects and heather grasshopper deserve special mention.
