- Hennersdorf has maintained partnership relationships with the Neuweiler district of the community of Weil im Schönbuch near Boeblingen in Baden-Württemberg , Germany , since 1976 .
- A second partnership has existed since 2006 with Hennersdorf in Silesia (Czech Republic), today Jindřichov ve Slezsku .
history
Grave finds from Hennersdorf show that the Avars ruled Pannonia in the middle of the 6th century and that the tributary Slavs settled here.
After the annexation of Austria in 1938, the place was incorporated into the city of Greater Vienna to the 24th district. It was not until 1954 that the place became independent again and fell back to Lower Austria.

economy
Hennersdorf used to be more of an agricultural community, but today there are a number of commercial and industrial companies.
- Companies
- Wienerberger AG : The most important company is Wienerberger AG with its Austrian headquarters in town and one of the most modern brick kilns in Europe. These brickworks on what was then the “Strasse nach Italien” (now Triester Strasse) were leased by Alois Miesbach in 1775 and formed the foundation for today's Wienerberger company. This company has its origins here through the many brickworks that were built around the turn of the 20th century .

- From Hennersdorf you can reach the communities Leopoldsdorf, Vösendorf and Achau by road.
- In the course of the opening of the S1 , Vienna's southern edge bypass, a truck driving ban was implemented in the area.
- The connection to the public transport takes place over the Pottendorfer line , which connects the place with Wien Hauptbahnhof (formerly Südbahnhof) and Wiener Neustadt on working days every hour.
- The bus line 266 of the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region serves the center of Hennersdorf and guarantees a transfer-free journey to Schwechat , Kledering , Oberlaa , Leopoldsdorf , Vösendorf and Siebenhirten . In Oberlaa and Siebenhirten there is a connection to the Vienna subway and in Schwechat to the “airport express train” .
