history

Hildebrandshagen was first mentioned on January 13th, 1301 as Hildebrandeshaghen . The certificate confirmed that the von Wolde brothers sold 4 hooves in Hildebrandshagen.

The tripartite division of the village can already be seen in the Swedish register card from 1696 for Hildebrandshagen.

The three parts of the settlement were then named in the Prussian original table sheet (PUM) from 1835. They were the "Norderhof", the "Mittelhof" and the "Süderhof". The village stretched over 2.5 kilometers from north to south. The courtyards mentioned were still unmarked, they were medium-sized. There were some farm workers' cottages at each farm.

In 1871 Hildebrandshagen had the following official statistics: Hildebrandshagen - Nordhof had 7 residential buildings in which 13 households were present. The residential area had 67 inhabitants, in 1867 there were only 46. Hildebrandshagen - Mittelhof had 5 houses with 7 households, 33 inhabitants - there were 36 here in 1867. Hildebrandshagen - Südhof had 5 houses with 11 households, 52 inhabitants - in 1867 they were only one fewer. All residents of the residential areas had the Protestant denomination.

The measuring table sheet (MTB) from 1880 shows the north courtyard compactly as a four-sided courtyard with a somewhat detached farm worker settlement. The middle courtyard remained relatively small, its specialty was now the blacksmith's shop designated for the village. The south courtyard as a three-sided courtyard also remained small; the village school was built there. There were also 2 to 3 cottages at the latter farms.

In 1920 new aspects emerged in the MTB: The north courtyard is known as Dominal and is a leasehold. The Mittelhof became a private estate, the school was relocated there, but the smithy remained. The south courtyard is also referred to as a dominal and therefore leased courtyard. The rural workers' settlement there had expanded.

In the GDR era, the south courtyard was cleared, only three small new farms were built there. A small LPG farm was built in the direction of Mittelhof, which continued to exist under private law after 1990. In addition to the old manor complex, which has been partially preserved, another LPG farm was set up at the Mittelhof. The north courtyard was retained, but was partially rebuilt or expanded. Overall, the main village of Hildebrandshagen developed here at the Nordhof.

A large solar park with 13.9 hectares has been built between Hildebrandshagen and Altenhagen in recent years.

On July 1, 1950, Hildebrandshagen was incorporated into Behnkendorf .

Hildebrandshagen came to the new Sundhagen community on June 7, 2009 as part of the Behnkendorf community.
