Hollywood in Vienna
Hollywood in Vienna is a year in Vienna held-find film music gala concert, under which the Steiner Max Movie Music Achievement Award will be given.
overview
“Hollywood in Vienna” is an orchestral concert series and award show that presents contemporary works of film music. As part of the gala in the Wiener Konzerthaus , the world's most influential film composers will be honored by the City of Vienna and excerpts from their life's work will be performed by the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. The gala concert was initiated in 2007 by Sandra Tomek, Best of Film Music , and has since been produced by Best of Film Music and echo medienhaus . Michael Balgavy is the co-producer. The gala also commemorates the composers who emigrated from Vienna in the 20th century to establish the classic Hollywood sound in Hollywood. Erich Wolfgang Korngold was one of the composers, Max Steiner , Arnold Schönberg and others.
The concerts originally planned for October 2020 have been postponed to September 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

1.) At the beginning of the performance, each visitor was given a flashlight, with which the audience created a starry sky at the end of "ET" at the sign of the conductor.
2.) Films: Abyss , Father of the Bride , Contact , Mouse Hunt , Death Becomes Her , Van Helsing , Night at the Museum , Polar Express .
3.) During Forrest Gump , as with every title, film clips were shown. The feather that could be seen in the film then flew over Vienna and into the concert hall, at last a real feather fell from the ceiling of the hall.
