pronunciation

The usual pronunciation in German, in which the second syllable rhymes with caffeine , contradicts the pronunciation in Islamic culture. The most common is a pronunciation in which the second syllable rhymes with " John Wayne ", less often with "Marleen". In standard Arabic, which is unusual in normal use, the second syllable rhymes with "stone". The stress is on this syllable.
