IC 1565 = IC 1567 is a cD galaxy of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 511 million light years from the Milky Way and about 150,000 light years in diameter.

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 24, 1897 .
