IC 1595 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Phoenix in the southern sky . It is an estimated 324 million light years from the Milky Way and about 145,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxy IC 1603 is located in the same area of ​​the sky .
