IC 1598 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 210 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 60,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there is u. a. the galaxy IC 1592 .
The object was discovered on January 15, 1895 by Herbert Alonzo Howe .
