IC 1832 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Aries on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 454 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 ly. 
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 1036 , NGC 1054 , IC 1838 , IC 1841 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on January 17, 1898 .
