Kabel eins Austria (own spelling: kabel eins austria ) is the Austria version of the German private broadcaster Kabel eins . The station can be received via all Austrian cable networks ( DVB-C ) as well as via a digital satellite receiver ( DVB-S ). In the case of certain content, the Kabel-eins program is overlaid with Austrian program content so that the original program can no longer be seen.
In addition to Austrian weather and daily Austrian news (AustriaNews), which have since been discontinued and only run on Puls 4 , ProSieben Austria and Sat.1 Austria , a separate teletext is also offered for Austria with kabel eins text austria . The teletext offers Austria weather as well as Austrian and international sports results. In addition, the German advertising windows will be replaced by Austrian advertising. The Kabeleins.at website offers an online film dictionary and a series dictionary.
criticism
Since the cross-fades not only affect the advertising window, the original German program can no longer be received at times and consumers have to switch to analog satellite reception. This has resulted in a large number of complaints from cable customers in Austria. Other customers, on the other hand, complain that content such as Adventure Life or Attention Control has too much focus on Germany for an Austrian version of the station .

Kabel eins HD Austria
Kabel eins HD Austria (its own spelling: kabel eins HD austria ) was the high-resolution simulcast version of kabel eins austria . Since March 1, 2017 are of kabel eins no independent high-resolution Austria version more, one cable HD Austria and kabel eins HD (Germany) are now identical. The transmitter is since September 2011 in the " HD Austria , the payment platform" package AustriaSat to receive .
