The canton of Metz-3 is a French constituency in the arrondissement of Metz , in the Moselle department and in the Grand Est region (until the end of 2015 Lorraine ).
history
The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its territory includes districts of the city of Metz in the west and south of the city.
location
The canton is located in the northern half of the Moselle department.
politics
In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the six candidate pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the team Sébastien Koenig / Sélima Saadi (both PS) won against Nathalie Dalmar / Jean-Michel Rossion (both FN ) with a share of the vote of 60.58% (turnout: 43.96%).
