The canton of Valenciennes-Sud was a French canton in the Arrondissement Valenciennes , in the Département Nord and in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region until 2015 . Its main town was Valenciennes . Norbert Jessus ( PCF ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Department from 2008 to 2015 .
