Kevin Jörg (born September 11, 1995 ) is a Swiss automobile racing driver . He drove u. a. in the GP3 series .

Career

Jörg started his motorsport career in 2007 in kart racing , in which he remained active until 2010. In 2011 he switched to the single-seater racing and was fourth in the Formula BMW Talent Cup , a training competition. In addition, he started in regular championships. He took part in two Formula Abarth events and one in Formula LO . In 2012 Jörg started for Jenzer Motorsport in Formula Abarth. With six podium finishes, he finished the season in sixth place overall. Jörg also took part in two races of the Northern European Formula Renault for Daltec Racing and made two guest starts in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup for EPIC Racing .

In 2013 Jörg stayed with Jenzer Motorsport and switched to Alpine Formula Renault . He finished third three times and, as the best driver in his racing team, came fourth overall. He also finished the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup in 23rd place overall. In 2014 Jörg contested his second season in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup for Josef Kaufmann Racing . With a win he improved to sixth place in the drivers' standings. In addition, Jörg took part in some races of the northern European Formula Renault for Josef Kaufmann Racing. He was 13th overall with two wins. In 2015 Jörg stayed with Josef Kaufmann Racing in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. He won a race and was third overall. He was tied with his teammate Louis Delétraz , who was second because he had scored more victories. Jörg won two races in the Northern European Formula Renault. He was also defeated by Delétraz and finished second in the drivers' standings with 305 to 378.

In 2016 Jörg switched to DAMS in the GP3 series . With a fourth place as the best result, he reached 14th place overall. In the GP3 series 2017 , Jörg started for Trident , where he finished 12th in the end. His best result was a 3rd place at the Hungaroring.
