The 2010/11 season was the 18th season of the French Ligue Nationale de Basket Pro A , the top division in the French men's basketball club . It was the 89th championship in French men's basketball and the 24th championship since the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB) was founded . The main round started on October 9, 2010 and ended on May 17, 2011 with the 30th and final game day. The play-off final round for the championship lasted until June 11, 2011.
As defending champion Cholet Basket started the season, which also competed in the ULEB Euroleague 2010/11 . In the 2010/11 Eurocup the league was represented by Chorale Roanne Basket , ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne and Le Mans Sarthe Basket .
Newcomers to the 2010/11 season were Limoges CSP and ÉB Pau-Lacq-Orthez .
