Location of the Lampersdorf district in Klipphausen
|
Lampersdorf is a district of the village of Klipphausen in the municipality of the same name in the district of Meißen , Saxony .
geography
Lampersdorf lies in the part of the Meißner highlands known as Wilsdruffer Land . The village is surrounded by the other districts belonging to Klipphausen, Sora in the east and Lotzen in the south. To the north and west of the neighboring area are further districts of the municipality of Klipphausen, including Taubenheim , Seeligstadt , Burkhardswalde and Schmiedewalde .
Agriculturally used plateaus surround the village, in a westerly direction the terrain rises towards the Baeyerhöhe . The street "Baeyerhöhe" is named after this elevation and opens up the center of the one-sided Waldhufendorf village on the west side of the valley of the Kleine Triebisch .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1334 as "Lamprechtsdorf". Namesake is a locator named Lamprecht , possibly the Episcopal-Meissnian ministerial Lambert von Wurgwitz mentioned in 1227. As early as 1428 the place name was shortened to "Lampirsdorff". It appears in today's spelling for the first time in a document in 1547. To distinguish a place of the same name near Oschatz , Lampersdorf carried the addition "near Wilsdruff " in 1875 .
Around the village, the residents of which earned their living from agriculture, stretched a 299 hectare forest hoof field . Two mills were also in operation, the Kirstenmühle, which has not been preserved, and the Obermühle, from which a riding stable emerged. They and other buildings in the village are protected as cultural monuments (see list of cultural monuments in Lampersdorf ). The manorial rule was exercised by the respective owners of the manor in nearby Limbach , and for centuries the administration was the responsibility of the Meissen inheritance . Lampersdorf has always been part of the neighboring Sora. In 1856 it belonged to the Wilsdruff court office and then came to the Meißen district administration , from which the district of the same name emerged. Lampersdorf lost its independence on January 1, 1950 when it was incorporated into Sora, which in turn was incorporated into Klipphausen on March 1, 1974.
