The Laudachsee ( 894 m above sea level ) is a mountain lake between the Grünberg and the Traunstein in the Salzkammergut in Upper Austria in the municipality of Gmunden.
Data
The Laudachsee is about 400 m long and just as wide and 15–26 m deep. The water temperature reaches a maximum of 20 ° C in midsummer.
The lake is shimmering crystal clear green and has drinking water quality.
The lake is excellent for fishing.

The Laudachsee drains into the Danube via Laudach , Alm and Traun .
hike
The Laudachsee is located in the idyllic landscape of the Traunstein nature reserve. It can be easily reached in around 1 hour along a forest trail from the top station of the Grünberg cable car.
The lake can serve as a starting point for a mountain tour on the Traunstein (1,691 m) and the Katzenstein (1349 m). The Traunstein can be completely circumnavigated on the route over the Hohe Scharte, the Mair-Alm and the Traunsee .
The Gasthof Ramsauer Alm is located on a hill above the Laudachsee .
