church
The Romanesque church was first mentioned in a document in 1229. It was dedicated as a chapel to St. Nicholas . The bell was cast around 1298 and is one of the oldest in the Waldecker Land. The brickwork in the north and south, the triumphal arch and a window on the south side date from the time it was built. Inside, mighty wall templates indicate a former vault. The church ruler's bench with inscriptions from the 17th century has been preserved. The organ dates from 1890 and is one of the few surviving instruments that the Vogt company built in the Waldecker Land at that time. In 1979 the church was extensively renovated.
