Lengfeld is a municipality in the district of Hildburghausen in the Franconian south of Thuringia . It belongs to the administrative community Feldstein , which has its seat in the area of ​​the city of Themar .

Lengfeld, at an altitude of 368 meters above sea level, is located on the southern slope of the Thuringian Forest in the Weißbachtal. 245 hectares of the 664 hectare municipal area are covered with forest. The basalt rock "Feldstein" is located in the Lengfeld district.
