The Schwäbisch Hall building list lists both old and existing buildings in Schwäbisch Hall .
Sacred buildings
City center
- St. Jakob was considered the "oldest church or chapel in the city" and was a Romanesque basilica with a long nave with wide cross arms and a crossing tower. In 1534 the choir, the cemetery and the cloister were demolished.
- St. John
- St. Maria am Schuppach was a Gothic hall church that was built from 1464 to 1467 in place of a house chapel donated by the Unmuß von Altenhausen family in 1322. The demolition took place in 1812.
- Marienkapelle or Schönthaler Chapel was a sacred building at Säumarkt 12 in Schwäbisch Hall, which was mentioned in 1296. Around 1500 it was extended to the south in the late Gothic style. In 1808 the sacred building was demolished.
- St. Jodokus , also called Josenkapelle , on Gelbinger Gasse 39 was built around 1250. The church tower was raised to the "Josenturm".
- St. Michael : A Romanesque basilica was built in 1156. The Gothic nave was built from 1427 to 1456. In 1427 a Gothic west tower was planned, but it was never implemented. Finally, there was a Gothic vault (1456) and a Gothic choir (1495–1525). The tower was raised in the Renaissance style from 1539 to 1573.
- St. Katharina : A flat-roofed single-nave hall building with 3 apses was built around 900. Around 1240 a church in the late Romanesque style was built. In 1343 a Gothic style choir was added. Between 1896 and 1898 the old nave was demolished and replaced by a new one in the neo-Gothic style.
- Spitalkirche , a baroque building .
- St. Joseph , built in 1886/87 according to plans by Ulrich Pohlhammer in neo -Gothic style .
- St. Nicholas , chapel in the cemetery in the arched style .
- Resurrection Church , Kirchweg 1, built according to plans by the architect Walter Bischoff (1961–1963).
- Evangelical Methodist Christ Church, Am Säumarkt 8/1 (1933).
- Mevlana Mosque (2002), Gaildorfer Straße, Wolfgang Kuhn

Southern core city
- Unterlimpurger Strasse 65 ; Synagogue with painting from 1738/39 ( Eliezer Sussmann )
- St. Urban : The church was built before 1230 by Schenk Walther II on Oberlimpurg (around 1210–1283) below Limpurg Castle. In 1250 a three-sided early Gothic choir with two bays was added. In addition, a three-storey church tower was built in the north with a base area of 4.60 × 4.60 m. Around 1430/50 the nave was widened and a chapel - probably as a burial place for Schenk Friedrich V and Susanna von Thierstein - was added on the south side.

- Kreuzäckerkirche, Schenkenseestr. 25. The church was consecrated on December 16, 1956 together with the evangelical parish hall and the kindergarten in the Kreuzäckersiedlung.

Heimbach settlement / Teurershof
- "Christ the King", Naumannstr. 6. Built according to plans by the architect Hans Georg Reuter and consecrated on March 12, 1961. The Christ the King mosaic by Dieter Franck and the choir room design from 2003 by Joseph A. Schaeble are remarkable.
