List of records in three cushion
This list shows the records officially recognized by the world association Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) for the three-cushion world championships (individual and team), three-cushion world cups , European championships and other tournaments (separately).
Definition and explanations
The definition of the "world record" is based on the assumption that it was achieved at a tournament in which players from all over the world could participate. That is., The streak record ( maximum series ) of thickness Jaspers with ( prolonged ) 34 points is not only not in a been achieved game, but in three sets, but also on a European without global participation ability, whereas the 24 points of Jérémy Bury were achieved on a World Cup and not on a World Cup, but this took place with worldwide participation. The world records are often interpreted differently.
The UMB also introduced a new regulation for average records for five games played in order to be considered a record. This leads (e) to the players (especially with the individual average (ED)) to express resentment, since z. B. seeded players only intervene in the final round and make it to the final in order to get the record recognized. This is incomprehensible to many players, since the highest streak is not subject to this rule.
