This is a list of cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina .

The largest agglomeration in Bosnia and Herzegovina is Sarajevo with a population of 402,166 (as of January 1, 2005). This means that nine percent of the country's people live in the capital region.

The following table contains the cities with more than 10,000 inhabitants whose names are listed in Latin and Cyrillic, the results of the census of March 31, 1981 and March 31, 1991, as well as an estimate for January 1, 2005 also the entity ( Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska ) to which the city belongs. The respective canton is given for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina . The Brčko district has a special status and does not belong to either of the two entities of the country. The population figures relate to the respective urban settlement in the narrower sense - the geographical urban area - not to the city or municipality in the political sense.
