This is a list of cities in Nigeria .

The largest agglomerations in Nigeria are Lagos with a population of 11,615,563 (metropolitan area), Ibadan with a population of 5,175,000 and Kano with a population of 4,033,069. This means that twelve percent of the country's people are concentrated in these three regions. The capital of Nigeria is Abuja with 1.35 million inhabitants (2010 calculation).

The following table shows the cities with a population of over 200,000, the results of the census of November 26, 1991, a calculation for January 1, 2010 and the state to which the city belongs. The population figures refer to the respective urban settlement in the narrower sense - the geographical urban area - not to the city or municipality in the political sense.
