In the east of Elsarn, the branch church of St. Margarete , built around 1784. The rectangular Josephine hall building with a retracted apse has a roof turret above the western gable front and a sacristy from the late 19th century to the north . The porch was built in 1957. The three-bay interior of the nave is vaulted with a groin . In the west an organ gallery rises above a pressed arch . A stained glass in the church is marked 1903. The altar has a tabernacle and plait decoration. It dates from around 1800. The organ was built in 1907 by Johann M. Kaufmann.

The two-storey former manor and inn belonging to the Verdenberg rulership follows the bend in the street with two setbacks. It has a long single-storey courtyard wing with greden . The core of the building dates back to the 17th century. The facade is simply structured with plaster strips and window grilles from around 1780.

The former Bürgerspitalkapelle has been used as a funeral hall since 1966 . The two-bay building was formerly in direct connection with the hospital. The outside of the chapel has a Gothic facade between stepped sloping gables from the late 19th century. The interior has groin and square vaults from the 17th and 18th centuries. Century. The altar is equipped with a volute retable with a split segment arch gable. A portrait of John the Baptist can be seen on the altar panel, made towards the end of the 18th century .

The parish church Maria Himmelfahrt , located on the southeast corner of the market square, is an early Baroque hall church with a transept, which was built between 1638 and 1646. It faces south and has a steeple to the west of the presbytery. The Loreto Chapel was built in 1666. The nave is opened through arched windows in stuccoed frame fields. The entire outer front shows a pseudo-architectural structure with giant Corinthian columns, cranked beams and balustrade. To the west is the Loreto chapel covered by a pent roof and to the east is a single-storey chapel. The choir has two bays and has just closed. The three-storey tower in the western corner of the choir is crowned by a baroque onion dome.

Across from the rectory is a double arch bridge from the 18th century, the so-called Kaisersteg, over the Gscheinzbach . On a pedestal on the central pillar is a statue of St. Maria Immaculate. Opposite her is a pyramid of lanterns.

At the western exit of the village there is a Johannes-Nepomuk-Wegkapelle marked 1722. The rectangular building has a wide opening, a curved bent gable on Ionic pilasters, in the gable field a stucco relief with angels and a genius blowing the tuba as well as a volute cartridge and framed drapery . Inside are stucco reliefs with lattice and bandwork framing. A representation shows St. Johannes Nepomuk before the king, his torture and the fall of the bridge. The statue of the saint rests on a swinging base. In front of it is a cylindrical offering box.

The pillory on the market square in Straß has an eight-sided shaft with a shell-shaped crown and a high round apse. It was built in the second half of the 17th century.

In the vineyards to the north-east of the village there is a statue of St. Donatus. A winegrower's emblem and the inscription with 1753 can be seen on the curved pedestal.

The castle ruin lies prominently above the northern end of the Straßertal. The castle was built in the second half of the 12th century by Rapoto I von Falkenberg. It was destroyed in 1299. The steeply towering remains of the wall of the late Romanesque, formerly two-storey chapel have circular templates on chalice consoles and vaults. The north edge of the polygonal apse has been preserved. In part, remains of the foundation walls, the rampart, the ditch and the circular wall can still be seen .

The former parish church has been used as a residential building since 1787. A large part of the Gothic structure from the 14th century is still preserved, as well as remains of the medieval churchyard wall.

The core of the former moated castle in Wiedendorf dates from the 16th century. It was first mentioned in a document in 1435 and often changed hands. In 1934 the east wing was extended. In 1968/1969 the old building was rebuilt and rebuilt. The two-storey four-sided system has window frames with turned plinths and grooved sills on the ground floor, and window sills with shell wedge stones and grooved sills on the upper floor. On the narrow eastern side of the entrance wing there is a dazzling column with a volute capital and a fighter with a wide, coupled dazzling arch, a former loggia from the 17th century (?). The barrel-vaulted passage with plastered net ridges dates from the second quarter of the 16th century. The rollers have been preserved from the former drawbridge. In the courtyard, on one side of the courtyard, there are arched ground-floor arcades on ashlar pillars. Inside there are groin and barrel vaults on the ground floor.
