Lohhof is a part of the city of Herzogenaurach in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland consists of three residential buildings and three auxiliary buildings. Just north borders Herzo Base at, just south borders of Herzogenaurach. The Lohhofer Graben, a left tributary of the Middle Aurach, rises near the village .

history

The high court exercised the Bamberg center office Herzogenaurach . The landlord of the farm was the Schönborn rule of Pommersfelden . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, Lohhof was given house number 40 in the village of Niederndorf. The Bavarian original cadastre shows the Lohhof in the 1810s with a hearth and farm buildings, a well and three ponds with a total size of around 1.3  hectares . As part of the municipal edict, Lohhof was assigned to the Herzogenaurach tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community of Niederndorf, founded in 1818 .

On May 1, 1978 Lohhof was incorporated into the city of Herzogenaurach as part of the regional reform .

religion

The inhabitants were originally Catholic and parish to St. Magdalena (Herzogenaurach) . The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are now parish in the Evangelical Lutheran parish church (Herzogenaurach) . A path chapel about 300 m east of the courtyard is of modern origin.

traffic

A residential path leads 50 meters further north into PUMA Way, an agricultural traffic route leads 50 meters further south to Leonhard-Ritter-Straße.
