Lostallo is a municipality in the Moesa region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland .

At St. Mark the inhabitants of the valleys Assembly Misox and Calanca found every year in the Lostallo "Centena" instead, connected to a procession . Red and gold are the colors of the Sax-Misox men .

The municipality is located on the western slope on the right side of the Moësa and consists of the village and the Cabbiolo and Sorte fractions . Neighboring communities are Soazza , Calanca , Grono , Cama and Gordona in the province of Sondrio .

history

The village was first mentioned in 1219 under the then name Lostallo . Every three years, the electors of the municipality meet in Lostallo to elect the district court.

According to the company, Lostallo has the longest RC car track in the world at 430 m . European and world championships are held regularly on the course. There is also a salmon farm in Lostallo where the fish are raised in a closed circulation system .

The psychedelic trance music festival "Shankra" takes place here every year.
