Gordona municipality in the province of Sondrio

Gordona is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1957 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sondrio in Lombardy .

geography

The municipality is located about 41 kilometers west-northwest of Sondrio on the Mera and belongs to the Comunità Montana della Valchiavenna . Gordona borders directly on the Swiss canton of Graubünden and the province of Como . In 2015 Menarola was incorporated. The neighboring communities are Cama GR (CH-GR), Livo (CO), Lostallo (CH-GR), Menarola, Mese , Prata Camportaccio , Samolaco and Verdabbio (CH-GR).
