Luca Marrone (born March 28, 1990 in Turin ) is an Italian football player . He is a midfielder and is under contract with the Italian record champions Juventus Turin .
Career
In the club
Luca Marrone began his career in the youth department of Juventus Turin , which he went through to Primavera . His debut in the first team, he completed 23 August 2009 on the opening day of the Serie A - 2009/10 season . He was substituted on by coach Ciro Ferrara in the 1-0 home win in the Olympic Stadium against Chievo Verona in the 74th minute for Tiago and saw the first yellow card of his professional career after a few minutes .
On July 1, 2010, he joined AC Siena on loan with Ciro Immobile , and in return Juventus received the three loan players Leonardo Spinazzola , Marcel Büchel and Niccolò Giannetti .
For the 2013/14 season , Marrones including 50 percent of its transfer rights was transferred to the US Sassuolo Calcio . After Sassuolo managed to avoid relegation, Marrone returned to Juve for the 2014/15 season , costing Juventus 5 million euros.
After a season without a commitment for Juve, Marrone left the club again on loan and joined FC Carpi , for whom he played from the 2015/16 season. After six months, however, the loan was ended and Marrone completed the second half of the season for Hellas Verona .
In the summer of 2016 it was awarded to the Belgian club SV Zulte Waregem . Another loan to FC Bari 1908 followed in the summer of 2017 .
In the national team
With the Italian U-17 national team , Marrone took part in qualifying for the U-17 European Football Championship in 2007 . In 2007 he played a qualifying match for the U-19 European Championship in 2008 with the Italian U-19 national team against Croatia . Marrone made his debut in the Italian U-21 team on November 13, 2009 against Hungary under Pierluigi Casiraghi . In June 2013 he finished second with the team coached by Devis Mangia at the European Championships in Israel after losing the final to Spain 2-4.
