Mała Bertynówka is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Reszel ( urban and rural community Rößel ) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ).
The hamlet ( Polish Osada ) Mała Bertynówka is located in the northern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , ten kilometers southwest of the district town of Kętrzyn ( German Rastenburg ) and nine kilometers southeast of the town of Reszel (Rößel) .
Nothing is known about the history of the small town, not even about whether it had a German name before 1945. A direct relationship to the village of Bertyny (Bertienen) , less than a kilometer south-east, shows the place name.
Ecclesiastically Mała Bertynówka belongs on the Protestant side to Kętrzyn (Rastenburg) , whose parish is incorporated into the Masurian diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland . On the Catholic side, Mała Bertynówka is connected to the parish Wilkowo (Wilkendorf) and its branch church Bezławki (Bäslack) in the Archdiocese of Warmia .
A land road leads from Bertyny to Mała Bertynówka . There is no rail connection.
