The village of Manolates ( Greek Μανολάτες ( m. Pl. )) Is located in the north of the Greek island of Samos about 2 km west of Vourliotes and almost 2.5 km south of Agios Konstandinos on the northern slope of the Ambelos Mountains at an altitude of about 400 m.

At the time of the hegemony , Manolates was a village of the Exi Gitonies (Έξι Γειτονιές 'Six Neighborhoods') and became independent when Samos was annexed to Greece in 1913.

As for the other villages in the north of the Ambelos Mountains , viticulture is the main source of income for the inhabitants. Tree crops such as cherries, apples, nuts and sweet chestnuts bring additional income.

With the implementation of the municipality reform according to the Kapodistrias program in 1997, Manolates was incorporated into the municipality of Vathy . After the merger of the former municipalities of the island after the administrative reform in 2010 to form the municipality of Samos ( Δήμος Σάμου Dímos Sámou ), the correction in 2019 means that the place is divided into two municipalities in the municipality of Anatoliki Samos .
