Myli ( Greek Μύλοι ( m. Pl. )) Is a village in the south of the Greek island of Samos in the municipality of Pythagorio about 5 km west of the airport .

The village is located on the western edge of the fertile plain of Chora (Κάμπος Χώρας) on the left side of the Imvrasos . The closest villages are Pagondas 2.6 km west and Ireo almost 3 km southeast.

Soon after Samos was repopulated in the second half of the 16th century, Myli was founded and is one of the oldest villages on the island.

However, the area was settled earlier. A small round shaft grave from Mycenaean times at the lower edge of the village contained the bones of a couple as well as vessels ( SH III) and gold jewelry as grave goods.

The numerous water mills that used to be operated by the stream gave the village its name. The wider area around the village is characterized by the cultivation of citrus fruits and olives, and vegetables are also grown on the plain.

With the implementation of the community reform according to the Kapodistrias program in 1997, the rural community Myli (Κοινότητα Μύλων) was incorporated into the community of Pythagorio . On January 1, 2011, the 2010 administrative reform brought together the former municipalities of the island to form the newly created municipality of Samos ( Dimos Samou Δήμος Σάμου).
