Mario Gentili

Mario Gentili (born March 5, 1962 in Rome ) is a former Italian cyclist and two-time world champion.

Mario Gentili was an amateur cyclist ; his focus was on standing races . In 1985 he was third in this discipline at the UCI Track World Championships in Bassano del Grappa . In 1986 in Colorado Springs and 1987 in Vienna he was world champion behind pacemaker Walter Corradin .

In 1987 Gentili took third place at the Cinturón a Mallorca .
