Martina Veh

Martina Veh (* 1971 in Starnberg ) is a German director and university professor who mainly works in the fields of music theater , opera , performance and acting .

Life

Veh initially studied architecture for five years from 1990 at the Technical University of Munich and graduated with a diploma . She then completed a theater and opera directing studies at the University of Music and Theater in Munich , which she also completed with a diploma.

Her productions have been at the Landestheater Niederbayern in Passau and Landshut ( Madama Butterfly , 2002), at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern ( Ladies' Night , 2006), at the Semperoper in Dresden ( UT-OP.er , coproduction Semperoper Kleine Szene and Technische Universität Dresden , Hochspannungshalle, 2009), at the Munich Biennale ( Neda - the call, the voice , 2012), in the Museum for Casts of Classic Visual Works in Munich ( STYX - Orfeo's Past Now , 2014), at the Erfurt Theater ( Gutenberg , 2016) and at the theater Winterthur ( L'incoronazione di Poppea , 2016) can be seen.

Martina Veh was a guest lecturer at the opera school of the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest from 2001 to 2008 , and from 2003 as a professor for three years . Since 2012 she has been a lecturer for the master class music theater / opera singing at the Munich University of Music and Theater at the August Everding Theater Academy .
