List of stumbling blocks in Künzelsau
In the list of the stumbling blocks in are Künzelsau laid stumbling blocks listed. The Stolpersteine are a project by the artist Gunter Demnig and are intended to remember the fate of the people who were murdered, deported, expelled or driven to suicide in the Third Reich .
On February 9, 2015, 23 stumbling blocks were laid on the initiative of the history teacher Matthias Schneider and a class from the Ganerbe-Gymnasium in Künzelsau. Further relocations took place on September 17, 2015, April 25, 2017 and March 3, 2020.

Max Ledermann | Max Ledermann, born on November 22, 1868 in Berolzheim, was a cloth merchant and the head of the Jewish community in Künzelsau . He died on March 20, 1933 of a heart attack in Künzelsau after being mistreated by the SA , which, under the command of the Heilbronner Standartenführer Fritz Klein, together with the police and members of the Stahlhelm , had carried out a "weapons search" the day before . He was one of the earliest victims of the organized Nazi persecution of the Jews. |
